Irma’s Shop Policies

Before visiting our shop or booking a bridal appointment, please review our store policies below:

We are not responsible for missed appointments

1. Appointments require a $25.00 non-refundable deposit to book.

All bridal appointments will require a $25.00 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The deposit can be applied to the purchase of a gown at the boutique.

2. Bridal appointments are by appointment only.

We do not have the staff or the space to accommodate walk-ins. By scheduling a one hour appointment, you are guaranteed time in our bridal room with uninterrupted attention from one of our consultants

3. We limit our bridal appointments to the bride plus three guests.

We would love for you to bring everyone, but our bridal room is not equipped to handle larger groups. As well, having less people can make the appointment more intimate and less overwhelming.

4. Please try and leave young children at home.

As much as we love them, our consultants would like to concentrate on giving you a fabulous shopping experience, not worrying about what your toddler may be getting up to

5. When trying on our gowns and clothing, we ask that you please wear underwear.

We understand not wanting to see lines under the clothing, however it is not sanitary, and we have to remove everything tried on from the showroom to be cleaned

6. Do not bring food or beverages into the shop.

Any food or drinks brought into the shop will be asked to remain at the front counter or left in your vehicle to prevent spills on our clothing, white carpet, and bridal gowns. Water is the exception.

7. Refrain from wearing perfume or heavily scented body cream.

The scent remains on the clothes and wedding gowns meaning we have to remove them from the show room to clean

8. Please arrive on time to your appointment.

Each bride is allotted an hour to try on gowns, and arriving late means your experience may be rushed, and you may not have time to try on everything you wished to try. We would love to let you extend your appointment passed the one hour, however it would be unfair to other appointments

9. We do ask that you and all guests remove your shoes before entering the bridal room.

This is to protect our white carpet and the gowns from getting dirty. We recommend wearing socks if you do not want to be barefoot, or bring a pair of slippers or clean shoes to wear.

10. Please let the bridal consultant carry the gowns and take them on and off racks

Many of the bridal gowns are quite heavy, and we do not want you potentially getting hurt trying to lift one down from the rack or carrying it to the dressing room. Our consultants are more than happy to do all the heavy lifting so you and your party can enjoy your appointment
